Trax Norway - Ghana

Trax Ghana works in three principal areas: food security, education and health. The project being supported by the Kavli Trust involves giving goats to poor and able secondary-school pupils, particularly girls.

Trax Ghana works to improve living conditions in the northern part of this west African country, which is much poorer than the southern region. Founded in 2016, Trax Norway aims to secure funds for the organisation’s work in three main areas – food safety, education and health.

The project being supported by the Kavli Trust involves giving goats to poor and able secondary-school pupils, particularly girls. The youngsters raise these animals, sell their droppings as fertiliser and eventually market the kids in order to fund their education.
