The Bergen Philharmonic Youth Orchestra is being established with support from the Kavli Trust in 2015-17.
The aim is to secure recruitment to Norwegian symphony orchestras by giving talented youngsters experience.

Young musical talent is blooming in western Norway, but three out of four orchestral jobs in the region go to foreigners. The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra (BFO) is now seeking to tackle that problem by creating a youth wing.
