ENACT - enabling parents of children with autism, an RCT multisite study
What helps parents of children with autism in everyday life?

What do parents need to best support children with autism in everyday life?
This project explores a parent guidance programme designed to make daily life easier—for both children and parents. The aim is to give parents practical tools to manage challenges, reduce stress, and support their child’s development and quality of life.
Several hundred families are taking part in the study, where the programme is compared with usual care. This allows researchers to identify what provides the most effective support over time.
The project follows families over several years and also examines how the support affects the need for other services.
The goal is to identify approaches that provide better support for families—in ways that work in real life.
