The project ICDP Ethiopia – Reaching Wider, Deeper and Securing Long-term Impact will establish a sustainable national structure for ICDP in Ethiopia. The goal is to expand reach while ensuring quality, consistency, and long-term impact.
ICDP has already shown promising results in the country. Parents report warmer relationships with their children, improved communication, and reduced use of harmful practices. However, growth has so far lacked a coordinated national framework.
This project will strengthen local structures by training facilitators and trainers, building a national network, and establishing a coordinating body to support long-term implementation and scale.
What the funding from Kavli Trust will support
The funding from the Kavli Trust will be used to:
- train additional local facilitators and trainers
- establish a national ICDP network
- build a sustainable national coordination structure
- ensure quality assurance and long-term programme development
The investment focuses on building lasting local capacity and ownership.
