Primary care Online Emotion-regulation Treatment
What helps young people manage strong emotions?
What helps young people when their emotions become hard to manage?
This project explores an online treatment programme for adolescents struggling with mental health challenges. The aim is to give them better tools to understand and regulate their emotions—and to see whether this can reduce their difficulties.
Nearly 400 young people are taking part, together with their parents. They receive support through a structured online programme, with guidance from therapists via video sessions.
Researchers are comparing two different treatment approaches to find out what works best—and for whom.
The goal is to make effective support more accessible and to identify solutions that fit into young people’s everyday lives.
