What is the effect of online treatment for children and young people with mild to moderate depression
What is the effect of online treatment for children and young people with mild to moderate depression?
Despite the growing use of digital treatment approaches, there is still considerable uncertainty around their effectiveness, cost-efficiency, and which components actually work for children and young people. Systematic reviews show mixed results, particularly when it comes to long-term impact, real-world implementation, and who benefits most from these interventions. This knowledge gap is critical: digital solutions have the potential to reach far more children, but without solid evidence, there is a risk of scaling interventions with limited effect.
