Every year Human Right’s Foundation holds the Oslo Freedom Forum and gathers the world’s most engaging human rights advocates, artists, tech entrepreneurs, and world leaders meet to share their stories and brainstorm ways to expand freedom and unleash human potential across the globe.
The goal of The Oslo Freedom Forum is to provide a stage for the world’s most deserving deserving activists, to give a voice to the voiceless, and a platform for those daring to challenge despots and human rights abusers globally. You can read more about the program here.
The Kavli Trust Tech Fellows will take part in an exclusively designed program, which will provide access to the main event as well as special trainings and workshops designed exclusively for the participants in the fellowship program. Fellows will also have the chance to meet with leading experts on the development of technology, policy and human rights.
Kavli Trust Tech Fellow applicants can fill out an application form by clicking here; the deadline is midnight on the 20th of May.
Upon the conclusion of the Forum the fellows will be granted the title of Oslo Freedom Forum Local Ambassador. Local Ambassadors will be responsible for representing the Oslo Freedom Forum in the local community in Oslo. They will assist the Human Rights Foundation’s team in developing a year-long plan for events, meetups and its general presence to ensure further development and growth around the Oslo Freedom Forum.
