The Choice Lab NHH - Tanzania
The Kavli Trust is supporting vocational education which boosts the job prospects of young women in Tanzania through the Girl Power project.
This is being pursued by the Choice Lab at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen. A field experiment involving 3 600 girls will provide input on how entrepreneurship can strengthen the position of young females.
The study primarily aims to show that giving such youngsters relevant health information will not be enough unless it is combined with creating the hope of job opportunities.
