Mind - Sweden
Mind is a Swedish association which offers supportive conversations to people facing a serious crisis.
Mental illness and suicide are a serious health problem in Sweden, and Mind has worked for many years to secure improvements in this area and to help people with mental problems. The Kavli Trust is helping to develop the association’s new anti-suicide help line, which will be staffed by 150 volunteers with special training in talking with suicidal people. Their support will be offered via telephone, chat and e-mail.
