Helge Leiro Baastad new chair of the board of Kavli Holding AS

Baastad has extensive experience from insurance and brand building as CEO of the insurance group Gjensidige over the past 20 years. He has also worked with sales and marketing for the brand companies Jordan and Lilleborg, in addition to a large number of board positions (such as Finance Norway, Ungt Entreprenørskap Norge and DNB). He has also served one year as a trustee of Kavli Holding from June 2021.

Helge Leiro Baastad succeeds Finn Jebsen, who has been chair of the board of Kavli Holding AS since 2006. Jebsen has played a key role in developing the group, which currently has a turnover of approximately NOK 4 billion. The owner, the non-profit foundation Kavli Trust, distributes the entire profit to good causes.

Trustee Ulrika Dellby has, after five years, chosen to resign. She is replaced by Carina Hanson. Hanson has worked with Swedish and Nordic brands for many years, most recently as CEO of Estrella AB. Prior to this, she had various roles in Orkla Foods / Abba Seafood. She has also been chair of the board of DLF Service and Livsmedelsföretagen.
