Changing Stories - Nepal
Changing Stories is a Danish NGO dedicated to helping struggling students in Nepal gain the foundational literacy and numeracy skills needed to succeed in school and in life.
Changing Stories’ work is inspired by a deep-seated belief that the world will be a better place when children, regardless of their social or economic background, gain the fundamental skills needed to complete an education.
Changing Stories believes that education is the first step towards enabling children and youth to change their own stories, the stories of their communities, and ultimately, the story of their nation.
The aim of the remedial education courses supported by the Kavli Trust is to ensure no student, who has fallen behind, is left behind. The courses aim to help the lowest-performing primary school students, who would otherwise receive no support from already overburdened public schools, catch back up to their classmates, thereby giving them a second chance at completing an education.
